Affordable Packages

CLASS 1 TRAINING

British Columbia has implemented the MELT programme to standardise training requirements across the province and promote industrial safety for anyone seeking a Class 1 Driver's License. For the Class 1 Road Test, completion of an ICBC-approved Class 1 MELT training is now necessary. The 140-hour Class 1 MELT curriculum in British Columbia includes additional practical behind-the-wheel driving, in-yard driving, and theoretical training hours. B.C. has 15.5 hours of theoretical and practical air brake training, which is over double the 8.5 hours mandated by Standard 16 of the National Safety Code, in addition to 50 hours on-highway and 37 hours in-yard and around the vehicle. Although our programme can be finished in as little as 6 to 8 weeks, students must complete the B.C. Class 1 MELT course within 12 months of the date of enrollment. CLASS 3 TRAINING

Class 3 driving education programme is available from APPLE DRIVING SCHOOL. This course contains all manuals and handouts and is intended for drivers who want to start with a Class 3 licence. 18 speed trucks are used by us for training and road testing. Additionally, we provide training for trucks with automatic transmissions. Our rates do not include ICBC fees.

The Class 3 curriculum consists of: Theory of Air Brakes, Driving lessons and Full Pre-trip inspection.
